Amy Kitchen
Founder
Amy is design and communications specialist that has worked extensively in both Toronto and London. Her areas of expertise are WordPress development, digital media strategy, branding and campaign designs. Making non-profits, startups and small businesses branding and marketing dreams come true is what she loves to do.
The Side Hustle was her side hustle since 2014, but it became the full-time gig in 2019. She’s been fortunate enough to work with a variety of clients including Fintraq, Living Kitchen Wellness, Ron Sexsmith, Grassland Grazers, Massey College, Moms at Work, and The Glenn Gould Foundation. She is also the co-founder of Better than Fine Inc, a production company and public engagement agency based in Toronto.

Organization and customer service are Michelle’s specialty! She has 10+ years of administrative and project management experience in the arts and non-profit sectors. With experience in social media management, SEO, website design and Google Ads, Michelle is Amy’s wing-woman. Michelle is also a Toronto based photographer who specializes in headshots, lifestyle and branding photography.

Michael is a Vancouver-based performance marketing specialist with an extensive background in experiential marketing. He has raised awareness on substance use in middle schools, executed immersive automotive brand experiences across Canada, and coordinated high-profile events such as the TED conference, and the JUNOS. As a recent Growclass graduate, Michael is enthusiastic about channeling his strategic communication and audience engagement skills in Meta and Google Ads campaigns.

Design + Development
Shaima is a Maritime-based software engineer turned graphic designer who specializes in web design and branding, with a focus on WordPress customizations, Shopify builds, and visual design. Her journey has taken her from Saudi Arabia to Malaysia and now to Canada, shaping a strong ability to communicate clearly and adapt across diverse cultures. Driven by curiosity and a constant desire to learn, she’s always expanding her skill set and refining her craft.

Sharon is a seasoned medical professional dedicated to delivering compassionate care and improving patient outcomes. Her clinical background has shaped a strong attention to detail, a calm approach to problem-solving, and an appreciation for collaboration.
