Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television
In 2020 Amy had the privilege to connect with Natalie Grossi and work with the Academy’s team on some social media strategy and SEO optimization for their newly launched site.
Aeon Design
Our last website launch for 2023 was for Aeon Design, a Toronto based design studio helmed by Sacha Lee. We worked with their team to create dynamic portfolio pages, concise project timelines, and interactive before/after showcases. We’ve also trained them to manage their new WordPress install with confidence.
Be Well with Michelle
We created a new online presence for Be Well with Michelle with a custom WordPress website built around flexible page templates that make it easy to add services, update content, write blog posts, and grow over time. Alongside the site build, we developed the branding: defining a calm, cohesive visual identity that aligns with Michelle’s approach and carries consistently across web and marketing materials. The result is a clean, professional site that feels welcoming, trustworthy, and simple to maintain.

We also achieved Google Non Profit status and worked to gain many other digital discounts and benefits for their organization.

Connected Canadians
We supported Connected Canadians with a suite of bilingual (English + French) design and digital marketing deliverables to help strengthen their visibility and keep their communications consistent. This included Google Ad Grants / nonprofit ads support to drive awareness and reach more seniors and community partners, along with the design of their annual report to clearly communicate impact for funders and supporters. To make everyday communications easier for their team, we also created a set of branding guidelines that help keep everything cohesive across web, campaigns, and social in both languages.
Covn Collective
The Side Hustle had the pleasure of working with Dr Ghaz Samandari on optimizing her Google Account (GA4) to learn her audience and set up a Google Ads strategy. We worked with her, and her team to show them the ropes of managing their own ads.
Designs by Sarah
Working with Sarah Meyer to migrate her site from Wix to WordPress allowed us to feature her beautiful stationery and design in a tailored and custom way. As one of the top wedding designers in Colorado, Sarah needed a site that reflected her work.
Employee Ownership Canada
We built a refreshed WordPress website for Employee Ownership Canada with an updated visual identity and a strong focus on usability for business owners, advisors, and community partners. A key feature of the build was a customized Resources section; designed as a growing library of articles, guides, videos, case studies, and research, it includes filtering tools that make it easy to find relevant content by topic, type, language, and year.
To support a truly national audience, we also implemented full bilingual support, ensuring every page is available in both English and French, with a translation workflow that keeps content aligned across the site as it grows.
FinTraq
Amy worked with Brian Traquair on his branding design and deployed his website in 2017 when he established FinTraq Inc.
Grassland Grazers
Matt + Erin Kitchen (yes, Amy’s siblings) are regenerative ranchers in Beaverdell, British Columbia. Reluctant to sell their meat online, their business quickly grew as demand from the city quickly overwhelmed their small business. This small e-commerce site is simple – it doesn’t offer shipping, as Erin still delivers locally on certain days of the week. They have coupons for the locals, so they still are still getting the best deal in the village.
Glenn Gould Foundation
Amy worked as the Director of Design and Communications for GGF from 2014 – 2017. After her tenure at the Foundation, she continued to freelance with the organization working on their website, social media, and print designs, as well as assisting on site during their signature events until 2020.
Halifax Folding Cartons
A family owned custom printing business established in the 1970s needed a branding and website refresh. Heather Davidson Photography
We teamed up with Heather Davidson on a full brand refresh of her photography business, formerly known as Fun Love Photography, evolving her identity to better reflect the depth and artistry of her work. What began as a beloved family and lifestyle portrait brand has transformed into a fine art focused photography experience under her own name, spotlighting the emotive, timeless images she creates for families, individuals, and creative professionals. Her new wordpress site highlights her fine art photography front and centre, with galleries designed to showcase connection, light, and story through a beautifully intentional visual presence.

Amy + Joy have worked together every February since 2019 on Joy’s Black History Month events. While these are usually well attended live events presented in Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax, during the pandemic they streamed on Joy’s YouTube channel. In addition to this event, Amy also manages Joy’s WordPress build and assists with in person events.

Nud Fud + Wild Ones Organics
We partnered with the team behind Nud Fud and Wild Ones Organics to elevate both brands online. Nud Fud received a thoughtful refresh to sharpen its visual identity and create a cleaner, more engaging shopping experience. At the same time, we migrated Wild Ones Organics from a Canva-built site to a fully custom WordPress platform, giving the brand more flexibility, stronger eCommerce functionality, and room to grow. The result is a cohesive digital presence that supports both brands with clarity, confidence, and a scalable foundation.

Pencil
Working with founder Johanna Peters and her team, we built a portfolio site that showcases some of their most beloved and recent projects. They’d outgrown their Squarespace site, and wanted something they could tailor easier. The galleries were prioritized over copywriting, letting the spaces speak for themselves to potential clients. We loved working on this creative, fresh site.
Period Purse
We worked with Jana Girdauskas to implement the Period Purse’s paid media strategy and optimize their account for conversions. We also managed their Google Nonprofit ads account.
Puffin Gear
Canadian hat designer Heather de Man came to us with an existing loyal audience and a Shopify site that she wanted to advertise on Google. We have optimized all her Google products for her, setting up Google Shopping ads and creating an affordable ad strategy that targets new customers in North America for her e-commerce presence The Orange Room.
Radiant Silk
Susan Cunningham needed an e-commerce platform when all the markets and craft fairs she normally sold her silk work at closed during the pandemic. She worked with Amy to photograph, and catalogue every piece so they could build a shop on Big Cartel. This platform is simple enough for Susan to update her own inventory, while making it easy for her clients and customers to purchase her fine art and butter tarts!
Smile and Skin
We built a custom WordPress website for Karly Thomas that showcases her dental hygiene and aesthetic services with a clean, modern look that reflects her brand. Alongside the site, we developed the branding system to create a cohesive identity across web and marketing materials. Because this work lives in a regulated space, we paid close attention to service descriptions and language throughout the site to ensure everything aligns with professional and regulatory requirements—while still feeling clear, welcoming, and easy to understand.

We built them a custom WordPress site with the ability to make reservations, get contact details for other members, and send in requests to club administration. The entire site is only available to paying members.
Toni Collis
Dr Toni Collis excels at executive and leadership coaching for women in the tech industry. We work with her on her Google Ads strategy, Google Analytics, as well as assisting with her YouTube channel management. Her podcast, Leading Women in Tech is a great resource that we’re proud to assist with promoting.
Taylored Granola
We’ve been working with chef Taylor Pogue since 2021. Our first project with her was to optimize her existing Squarespace site for her e-commerce business Buttery Foods by running Google ads and creating reporting to learn who her local audience was in Montreal, Canada. Her e-commerce business outgrow that platform, so we moved her business to WordPress with Woocommerce. In 2023 she pivoted her business to focus on her flagship product, Taylored Granola.
